Explore the Earth Element
Through Somatic Yoga &
Chinese Medicine
A free introduction to seasonal yoga through the lens of the Five Elements.
What can the changing seasons teach us about how we move, feel and live?
The Five Elements of Chinese Medicine offer one beautiful way of exploring the cycles of nature
and noticing how these rhythms might also be reflected in our own lives and bodies.
In this free talk, I introduce the Five Elements and take a closer look at the Earth element: its qualities, rhythms and associations and what it can open up when we begin to look at yoga through a more seasonal lens.
This is an invitation to become curious about the relationship between the inner and outer rhythms and the inherent connection between nature, the body, movement and the cycles of life.

This free talk is an introduction to some of the ideas that we'll explore more deeply in my upcoming
Earth Element Somatic Yoga Series.
Across the series, we move beyond simply learning about the Earth element and begin to explore its qualities through somatic movement, yin yoga, qigong and meditation.

And if you're new here…I'm Liina, a somatic yoga teacher and educator interested in the fascinating meeting point between movement, anatomy, fascia, Chinese Medicine, somatics and our lived experience in the body.
My approach is slow and curious rather than prescriptive. I'm less interested in telling you what your body should feel and more interested in helping you develop the sensitivity to discover what is actually happening within you. |
