Winter is the energy of the element Water, the time of rest and hibernation, when nature retreats to build up its reserves for its next cycle of seasons. This is a quieter, more reflective time of year, a time to slow down, to allow the stillness to guide you to the places in your body and psyche you may have neglected. During the darkest time of the year, allow the quiet practices to offer you the rest you need to build an inner reservoir and let these practices guide you into deepening your self-knowledge. This is the time for introspection, as all the answers we seek are within us - we just have to be quiet enough to listen and be empty enough to be filled.
As the practices below also explore, we can enter a phase of internal winter at any season. It is a time of deepening our knowing of what is most essential, time of facing our fears and shadows, time of decent and unraveling, time of stillness, of not knowing, of surrender and of mystery.
Regularity in a group creates its own momentum, consistency,
a space of trust, a sense of community and shared accountability -
that is why I would love for you to join for the whole 6 weeks.
Both in studio and online sessions will be available also for drop-in.

HONORING THE WINTER'S DOMAIN & WATER ELEMENT - I'll keep circling back to this, reminding both you and myself that despite of the start of the New Year, in the seasonal wheel we are still very much in the depth of Winter's domain. Even though the pressures of the dominant culture and capitalism are pulling us in the direction of action at the start of the year - resolutions, intentions, promises of self-improvement, goals of increased productivity - nature's cycles are not following that calendar and most likely, neither are our bodies. As we slow into our bodies and connect to a more natural rhythm, I want to offer these sessions as a way to keep simmering, marinating, hibernating together with our dreams, wishes, intentions and visions!
Water is the element that govern's the season of Winter according to Chinese Medicine - so we will turn to Water's wisdom as we move through the month. In our bodies Water element is represented by Kidneys - housing our source energy, vitality and longevity.
