LIINA & ELI are life-partners and experiment in ways they can combine their talents to bring forth what they love - for Liina it would be her passion for yoga, movement, dance and mindfulness and for Eli it is his love and dedication to writing and playing music.

YOGA through 5 ELEMENTS with LIVE MUSIC
Everything in nature (including us) is made up of five basic elements: earth, water, fire, air and space. We will explore the nature and qualities of each element in and through our bodies by combining the practices of Yin and Vinyasa yoga, with some simple Qi Gong elements and free-style movement (call it dance, if you want!).
Understanding, exploring and embodying the five basic elements allows us to connect to our own body-mind-spirit structure, but also offers us a step beyond and glimpse into the laws of nature and our interconnectedness with everything that is.
Earth - everything in nature that is solid (and our solid structures like bones, skin, tissues, etc).
Steadiness, balance, grounding and supporting. We will mostly use the deep stretches of Yin Yoga to explore the steadiness of our body and mind
Water - everything liquid in nature and in our bodies (blood, water, circulatory systems in the body).
Through the movements of hips and spine, we'll come to experience the fluidity of our bodies and release rigidity in our minds .
Fire - part of nature that transforms one state of matter to another, in yoga it translates to purification and empowerment. Creating heat and energy in the body, plus using some healthy dose of willpower, we use dynamic asana flows to become aware and hopefully burn away some destructive patterns and stagnant habits.
Air - everything that is in a state of gas in the nature. Air = prana = lifeforce , it equals the proper use of breath in your asana practice, its responsible for all movement - expansion and contraction, it is the lightness of our body and being. We'll explore the heart space through some interactive asana to connect to self and others in the space.
Space - it holds all other elements, it can also be called ether, light, life, consciousness. The fruits of your practice - let yourself be surprised!

Eli Salzman is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, born in USA, living and playing in Berlin now for 7 years. Eli's musical style is unusually rich and eclectic, drawing from alternative rock, blues, pop and modern influences.
When playing LIVE for a yoga class he uses his voice, keyboards and live looping method to create ambient, spacious, melodic and highly emotional backdrop to support your asana journey.

Liina Tael is a yoga teacher, a dancer and a student of life. She uses asana and movement to explore the nature of her being and to keep herself healthy, balanced and open. She loves to combine different techniques - yoga for more stability, strength and structure and dance/freestyle movement for fluidity, authenticity and free-expression.
