Get yourself really comfortable lying down.
Yoga Nidra can both relax and replenish. It is a potent medicine practice not just for relaxation, but for receiving guidance and healing. And for "waking-up" (even though "nidra" is translated as sleep) - the relaxed state induced by a yoga nidra can help us experientially touch upon the essential truth of who we really are. It welcomes us home to ourselves.

This practice was created with the season of autumn in mind - the letting go that is one of the wisdom nature is showing us. But it can be used any time of the year of course - as our inner seasons don't often match the outer.
