During the past few years Sebastian & Murielle have traveled extensively in Asia and Europe, teaching YIN-YOGA workshop's improving their teaching skill to unveil their Yin-Yoga.

OUR MEDITATION/PHILOSOPHY MODULE AIMS
AT DEMYSTIFYING THE SPIRITUAL APPROACH OF YOGA
THROUGH ANALYSIS OF PERCEPTION & COGNITION

This Training is designed for teachers and dedicated practitioners with at least 2 years of yoga experience. 
Prior experience in Yin Yoga is an advantage, but not a requirement. Similarly - it is not required that you have done a Module 1 & 2 TT in Yin yoga, but you do need a keen interest in meditation and yoga philosophy. You do not have to wish to become a Yoga teacher to follow this training but a spirit to learn and dedication to deepen your practice are required.

The 50 hours of the course covers: 

PRACTICE
​

  • Build and sharpen your ability to concentrate by applying and sustaining (merging Asanas, Pranayama and Dharana)
  • Practice different meditation techniques to collect the mind (diaphragmatic breathing, anapanasati)
  • Progress towards an absorption of the mind (developing Samatha or the practice of meditative quiescence)
  • Balance and tune your energy level in the practice (standing tonify/Meditating Daoist posture)

​TEACHING METHODOLOGY 

  • The Tattvas of the Yin practice (the principles and qualities of the practice)
  • Define Ekagrata or one-pointedness of mind (lead your practice & teaching with one intent )
Yin Yoga practice has a transformative effects on body and mind. The gentle but consistent stimulation of the connective tissue encourages long-term health and flexibility of the joints, recharges the energetic system of the body and naturally draws the mind inward into a relaxed, meditative state. It also prepares the body and mind for longer meditation practices.

For more than 25 years, Sebastian has practiced Martial Arts, Shiatsu,Yoga and Meditation, refining and stabilizing his research to the study of Yin-Yoga as a foundation, to sustain and promote a holistic life-style while cultivating and developing a tranquil mind. Combining western anatomy and meridians theory approach, the practice of Yin Yoga come to be a potent healing, and psycho- spiritual system.

PHILOSOPHY
​

  • Exploring Samadhi Pada Patañjali first chapter of the Yoga Sutras (the meditative absorption or the definition of Yoga)
  • Patañjali analysis of Yoga (“Yoga Citta Vritti Nirodha” exposed)
  • Samkhya or the framework of Patanjali (from Prakriti to Purusa)
  • Studying the 5 hindrances to meditation  (the obstacles to meditation and how to overcome them)
  • Embody the Brahma Viharas (the 4 immeasurable found in the Yoga Sutras and Buddhism)
Our Yin Yoga Teacher Training is overlapping Yogic,Taoist and Buddhist concept to contemplate and interpret the essential message of those different traditions.
From the gross to the subtle we believe in cultivating an awareness of all the different aspect of the individual, combining body/mind perception as a practice to positively affect, modify, and transform one's health and consciousness.

Murielle’s yoga journey began in London early 90′s and over the years she experimenting with different styles like Hatha, Iyengar and Prana Flow, she certified as a Yoga Teacher in 2004 at International Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Ashram. Since 2009 she has been training and studying Yin Yoga first with Victor Chng and then with Paul and Suzee Grilley (Founder ofYinYoga) to deeper her understanding and practice in this form of yoga.
