4-part yoga journey consists of 4 practice videos each about 20 minutes long. You can use them separately or mix and match to create a practice that suits your mood, time of day and your energy level. PART 4 is the final goal of your yoga practice - MEDITATION. Get yourself sitting comfortably up on a cushion, against a wall or even on a chair and follow the instructions on the video. This is a practice on its own, but it can be used in combination with any of the other practices. |
The aim of all yoga is self-inquiry - to be able to sit still, to be present, aware and alert to what's moving within. This is a simple guided concentration practice, introducing the first steps to mindfulness meditation.
This is a practice on its own, but it can be used in combination with any of the other practices. Meditation can be used before your yoga practice as a way to ground and center OR it can be used after a more physical practice as a way to integrate the practice on a deeper level. Usually, when you feel restless, do your yoga before (PART 2) and then it will be easier to sit still. A yin practice (PART 3) opens the body and calms the mind, therefore serves as a great preparation for meditation. A more fiery vinyasa practice burns up excess restlessness, anxiety, edginess - making it possible to become still in our body for a short sitting afterwards. Choose a combination that serves you today!
